My intention in joining the MBA Network Board is to assist in forging connections within and across cohorts, as I firmly believe that we each hold unique backgrounds and skillsets as such have a great deal to offer each other on both a social and professional level. As part of this, I hope to represent the interests of our cohort and the wider MBA community in not just developing new events and opportunities for collaboration on a social and professional level, but in shaping the board and MBA Network itself into the best organisation it can be to reflect the character and needs of the community, and best support its member’s (our) development and experience with the program. On a more personal level, I hope to make use of my skillset in coordinating diverse teams and resources, and managing across stakeholders, further building on these skills to develop into the kind of representative that can be what the MBA Network, and cohort needs and can be happy to have. From continuing on the tradition of the MBA Annual Ball, to new opportunities for networking and professional development, I believe that the legacy of the MBA Network organisation is something that we as a community should not take for granted, and as such I want to play an active role in maintaining and shaping this organisation for all of us moving forward.
