About the Role

The Director of Events is responsible for planning and executing events for EMBA, FTMBA and PTMBA students. Important events would include the University of Sydney MBA Ball, Monthly Mixers, industry panel discussions and other engaging workshops for the student community.

MBA BallResearching and securing venues, planning and managing the MBA Ball dates, negotiating quotes and agreements with vendors, assisting with event marketing, monitoring timeframes and budgetsMapping the event flow and arranging for speakers and guests to participate in the BallWorking on acquiring sponsorship for the MBA Ball and managing the tickets to be sold70%
