Sydney MBA Network is charged with building and sustaining a valued community to enrich the experience and excellence of the MBA and EMBA programs at the University of Sydney Business School.
About the Role
The Director of Partnerships is a member of the Board and responsible for developing partnerships with business, government and the non-profit sector to benefit Sydney MBA Network and, where applicable, the MBA clubs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: developing and executing Board partnerships strategy, working closely with MBA management, including the Careers team, and securing financial and in-kind support for MBA Network activities.

Roles and Responsibilities

Fundraising | Using the partnership strategy, and leveraging professional network, securing funding for MBA Network’s program of events and other activities | 30% |
Other | Other tasks as required | 10% |
Key Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Experience in developing and executing organisational strategy
- Proven skills in fundraising and/ or relationship management
- Current student within either the MBA or EMBA programs at the University of Sydney
Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Previous experience in student council or equivalent would be an advantage
